ACES is an approved provider for the Supplemental Educational Services program in Polk County. This No Child Left Behind federal grant offers free tutoring to families that qualify. Parents may choose ACES as their number one choice on the district registration form.
ACES provides one-on-one tutoring in math or reading. The tutor will meet you in your home or at the public library. The schedule will be sessions of 30 minutes- 1.5 hours, meeting one-two days per week, for a total of 20 hours.
Do We Qualify?
To qualify for this free tutoring program each student must meet two requirements:
1. School must qualify for the program. 2. Student must qualify for the free/reduced meal program at that school.
The schools that qualify are determined by the state and may change from year to year. Registration must be completed through the school district or through the local qualifying school.
